MS. CHASTITY RENEE BEGLEYNAMED WINNER OF THE 2008 MG BENJAMIN J. BUTLER 'CENTURY DIVISON' SCHOLARSHIP AWARD.
The Community Foundation of Louisville recently selected Ms. Chastity Renee Begley, daughter of MSG and Mrs. Kenneth C. Begley as the winner of the 2009 MG Benjamin J. Butler “Century Division” $1,000 Scholarship Award.
Renee, as she prefers to be called, lives in Springfield, Kentucky with four siblings and recently graduated as class Valedictorian from Washington County High School in Springfield, Kentucky. Ms. Begley’s goal is to pursue a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the Speed School of Engineering at the University of Louisville.
Renee was nominated by her father, MSG Kenneth Begley who recently served as the Assistant IG at the 100th Division Headquarters. Renee will be formally recognized during the 29th Annual Association of the Century Reunion on Saturday, September 26th at the 100th Division Headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Association of the Century congratulates Renee on a job well done in high school and wishes her the best for her future at the Speed School of Engineering at the University of Louisville.
