The Association of the Century Mission Statement

The Association of the Century, Inc., is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement of our nation's defense, particularly and specifically through a strong, mission capable 100th Division (Institutional Training).  It is administered and directed by a duly elected volunteer Board of Directors made up of officers and enlisted personnel both retired and active.

These are our objectives:

1. To help perpetuate the high standards of excellence that have been the hallmark of the 100th Division (IT) throughout its existence.
   
2. To provide the base for an awards program encouraging competition and recognition of exceptional achievement by members of the 100th Division (IT).
   
3. To assist in maintaining the strength of the 100th Division (IT) by encouraging talent-proven, former service personnel to affiliate with the unit as well as young people of ability, dedication and character.
   
4. To inform the public through all means possible of the necessity of a strong Reserve in preservation of our democratic form of government.
   
5. To provide a strong, fraternal and social link between active and former members of the 100th Division (IT) with the common welfare and personal achievement of all personnel.
   
6. To assist in the education of future leaders by providing a scholarship each year to a deserving high school graduate who is related to a current or former member of the 100th Division (IT).  The scholarship is in the name of MG Benjamin J. Butler.
